| (22) Shellback Card This was given to me after the "Crossing The Line Ceremony" held on 14 May 69. | (23) Apollo 11 Commemorative Envelope On the day of the splashdown all outgoing mail was stamped to commemorate the occasion. If I remember correctly, our mail was sent over to the Hornet to have this done. | (24) Family Gram The Arlington's Commanding Officer occasionally had these news letters mailed to the crew's families. They usually contained updates of the Arlington's unclassified operations. This one covered the Apollo 11 operation. | ||

| (25) Arlington's Official Logo I used to have the official ship's patch of the same design but have lost it through the years. If anyone knows where I can obtain one please let me know. | (26) Ship's Patch This was worn by all sailors stationed on the Arlington. It had to be removed upon assignment to another ship or shore station. | (27) Battle Efficiency Patch This was also worn on the right sleeve of all Arlington sailors. | ||
